Saturday, January first, was a bit overcast and cool. I grabbed my jacket, camera and some road snacks and went exploring. Here’s one of the first pictures of our new ride, complete with the obligatory coating of mud.
This was taken at Red Rock Wilderness Overlook Park on the Virginia side of the Potomac. If you find yourself around the Leesburg area with a little time to kill, there is a nice, gentle trail from the parking lot to a pretty vista. It’s only 67 acres, so don’t expect much more than a nice walk in the woods and some pretty vistas.
I’m going to document this road trip with route instructions under the “On The Road” tab if you’d like to recreate the run and get your own pictures.
Hope y’all had as much fun as we did.
