I love road trips and my camera is usually close at hand. This page is where I’ll share some images. Comments, critiques and thrown tomatoes are always welcome.

I took about a quarter of a mile hike along the old C&O Canal towpath and then scrambled up a loose shale bank to get this shot of the west end of the Point of Rocks tunnel. I love old structures.

Working railroads have to replace ties and other components on a regular basis. These old wooden ties will eventually become part of the detritus, but for now, they just add a bit of ‘flavor’ to the scene. This is what I like to call a ‘Texture’ shot.
