Post Orbital Design

My wife and I live in Falls Church, Virginia. Since this is inside the DC Beltway, any time we get a chance, we escape to the country.

This past Saturday was a great chance to try out my new camera, so we hit the road.

Point of Rocks, Maryland is an old railroad town on the Potomac River. It has a lovely gingerbread train station, plenty of parking on the weekends and offers access to the  C&O Canal parks and tow path. More on this at a later date.

Normally, we would take the major highways to run up there in short order. This time, I wanted to country photo ops, so that meant exploring some back roads.
