Paw Paw Road Trip

We visited the Paw Paw Tunnel on the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historic Park.

I took more than 260 photos during the day. Here’s a couple of my favorites.

I like the contrast between the solid sheets of shale and the soft beauty of the flowers.

This is the obligatory east entrance photo of the tunnel.

This shows the abandoned Western Maryland Railroad bridge that is near the entrance to the Paw Paw Tunnel park. It’s in Maryland, only a couple of miles from Paw Paw, West Virginia.

You can see a few more images of local scenery in the Mentilucent Paw Paw gallery.
